Terms of use

Legible Blood Pressure records and summarizes values obtained from an external blood pressure cuff. The phone does not measure or estimate blood pressure. Trends, probabilities, comparisons, and forecasts are uncertain informational summaries—not diagnosis, emergency services, treatment plans, or medication recommendations.

User responsibility

Users are responsible for operating their cuff according to its instructions, checking entries, seeking professional care, and following emergency guidance applicable to their location. A forecast does not guarantee a future reading. A before/after pattern does not prove a logged event caused a change.

Sharing and availability

Records are stored only in the browser used to enter them. Clearing site data, losing a device, storage eviction, software defects, or forgetting a backup password can make records unavailable. Users select export and sharing destinations. Once information leaves the app, protection depends on the recipient, device, and selected application.

Optional support

“Buy Legible a coffee” is an optional payment through Venmo. It is not a purchase of medical care or additional app features. Legible is not presented as a nonprofit.

Deletion and changes

Users can erase local records in Settings. The app cannot delete copies a user has exported elsewhere. Clinical policies, software, browser support, import formats, and statistical models may change by version. No statement establishes medical-device authorization.
