Accessibility
Designed for clear, careful use
Legible Blood Pressure targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The measurement flow is designed for keyboard and screen-reader use, large text, reduced motion, high contrast, and touch targets suited to a phone.
Included support
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, and visible focus styles.
- One value at a time during guided measurement, with accessible validation messages and numeric keyboards where supported.
- Text and table equivalents for charts so color and pointer input are not required.
- Light and dark themes, safe-area spacing, dynamic text, and a reduced-motion experience.
- Timer updates that announce meaningful milestones without repeatedly interrupting assistive technology.
- Blood pressure phrasing that identifies systolic, diastolic, pulse, units, time, and whether a value is a raw reading or session average.
Platform behavior
Browser, standalone PWA, VoiceOver, keyboard, file sharing, printing, and installation behavior vary by device and operating-system version. Zoom remains available. The app does not require animation, haptics, color perception, or a precise pointer to complete the core measurement workflow.
Testing and improvement
Automated checks are combined with keyboard, screen-reader, zoom, reflow, mobile-browser, and installed-app testing. Platform behavior can still vary across device and operating-system versions.
